For reasons I won’t bore you with, we had two passes to the Oakland Zoo. So I did the economical thing and skipped out, spending an hour running the kitty in the nearby hills. It’s surprisingly picturesque at the Upper San Leandro Reservoir.
With Meow’s fuel consumption I’m not sure if we actually saved any money in the end.

As much as I see other places near here , I still just stay here in west Marin. I still haven’t hiked everything here and we did a lot of miles during the lock down. I didn’t know that reservoir was over there, I have only been to San Leandro once, a fellow Dodge M37 owner lives there and teaches shop at the high school there, we put his truck on a lift and he schooled me.
